Australia's worst natural disaster. Victorian 2009 'Black Saturday' Bushfire (Firestorm) 7th February 2009. Throughout recovery significantly grief and traumatised community members were disappointed it took 4 and a half years before they heard the terminology 'Post Traumatic Growth'. At the below conference many expressed and shared their feelings that the phrase 'Post Traumatic Growth' gave them hope following such horrific, tragic and devastating loss.
