Self-care is one of the greatest attributes you can do to help maintain, sustain and celebrate life.
SELF-CARE is the first and most important thing you can do for yourself and your family.
If you wait for others (family, friends, employers, government authorities etc)
to help you care for yourself you could be left stuck waiting for a very long time.
If you are a carer it is extremely important you SELF-CARE so you can sustain being a carer.
The use of calm healthy ways to cope with overwhelming feelings when placed within a confronting situation
will help prevent harming yourself or others.
Learning to identify triggers where you may find your behaviour escalates into anxiety,
become overwhelmed with emotion or detached from your feelings is a valuable skill that will support you during your life journey.
Parents are children's most valued asset and teacher:
Children tend to mimic their parents behaviour "Monkey see ~ Monkey do !!" Therefore it is vitally important parents carry out their own research and consider the value of
opening
minds to
resourcing, learning and include practicing coping skills in their daily lifestyle at home.
Having a like minded buddy could help you monitor and sustain practising your 'SELF-CARE' program until it becomes a wellbeing ritual that has helped you achieve living your 'new normal' in a positive manner.
